Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, University of Manitoba
After completing PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Calgary and a post-doctoral fellowship in brain injuries at St Michael s Hospital in Toronto, Kelly accepted an Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Manitoba and is an investigator with the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba.

Her research focus is identifying risk factors for sport injuries among children and preventing these injuries through health promotion initiatives, protective equipment use, and improving the sports-related built environment. She is also interested in the prevention of concussion and physical and psycho-social outcomes after concussion.
