Our Partner in Pediatric Research Funding

The Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba proudly acknowledges the support it receives from the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.

The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba is the main funding source for the ongoing operations of the Institute. The Foundation invests millions of dollars each year towards child health research at the Institute, providing core funding for new research projects, infrastructure and administrative support needs, and training scientists in all levels of their academic journey.

Established in 1971, the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba raises funds to support the special health care needs of children through reliable and consistent funding of equipment and programs at Winnipeg Children’s Hospital and pediatric medical research at the Children\’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised close to $90 million.
