A leading contributor of science and knowledge through discoveries.
The Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM) is supported by the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba (CHF-MB), and collaborates with partner organizations to facilitate research activities focused on improving the health of children.
The Board of Directors for the Institute (which ultimately reports to CHF-MB) provides a governing framework within which the community operates. The Management Team and support staff oversee the daily operation of the Institute, ensuring that strategic aims are being realized through successful coordination and support for the community.
Members (CHRIM Scientists) are at the core of the Institute and are approved by the CEO and Scientific Director, either upon application or by invitation. To read more about the benefits and responsibilities of CHRIM membership, click here.
Research Themes are established research groups focused on a particular area of research relevant to child health, composed of faculty of recognized excellence.
